Trench dress: two ways

We all have items that lurk in our closet reminding us of that one time we wore it and now we don't know what to do with it. These days unless I can see myself wearing something a number of ways, I most likely will not buy it, because a) it will just end up taking up space in my wardrobe and b) ain't no body got time to waste money.
When Eloquii posted this dress on their site it was love at first sight, but it had to pass the test. How was I going to wear this...not just for blog posts, but IRL. The 50's silhouette lends itself perfectly to the retro styling in the first look. What is equally great is that although it has a retro vibe it is totally modern. For the second look I went casual, opting for my superstar trainers. I would totally rock this with a sweater over the top in cooler weather, wearing the dress as a skirt, or I could put a top under it. Shoes wise, this dress works with heels, trainers, boots, mules you name it...
